Three Year Old Birthday

We enjoyed going to our niece Shelby's 3rd birthday party. She is the cutest little chatter box full of smiles, songs, and hugs! Her mom made her the coolest dinosaur (or as she says "dinosaurus") cake. Of course it was chocolate as that is her favorite treat. We enjoyed watching her eat cake and open her presents. She is a doll!I took some notes about the events of the party for my writing class:

All dolled up in a polka dot dress

With a pink feather boa around her neck

White sock and pink flowery shoes

Hair all done up with clips and a bun

A home made chocolate "Dinosaurus" cake

With blue bunny cookies n cream ice cream.

A quick song of happy birthday and

A total of six tries to blow the #3 candle out!

She digs into the ice cream first

And the the yummy chocolate cake.

"Presents!" she exclaims "Want to open those presents"

Carefully she tears the wrapping paper
