Durfee Women's Retreat

The Durfee's have a great tradition of having all the women, sisters, and young adult girls get together and spend the night. We started out with a trip to the temple and it was so neat to go through with my grandma, aunts, cousins and mom. Then we headed over to the Randall's Bed and Breakfast (thanks Aunt Nancy for letting us use your house). For dinner we ate homemade soups of veggie, corn chowder, and chili beans. The coolest part was we put it in these yummy bread bowls. We had a marvelous time visiting, sharing stories, playing a drawing version of telephone, and laughing. I finally gave in and went to bed around 1 am but the others stayed up much later. The next morning we made the most delicious breakfast. The variety of fruit was tasty. We made omelets and got to put any topping we wanted in it. My Mom was an expert at cooking them.
