Remember When...
Sunday night we went to my parents house after dinner at Grandma Bevell's house. The whole family sat around in the livingroom and reminisced for a good hour. It was so much fun to tell stories about all of our adventures growing up. We laughed so hard! There were so many funny ones, here are a few I can remember: Dad killing the neighbors rooster thinking it was ours, Katie "accidentally" slipping into the irrigation on Sunday and sneaking in through the window to change her clothes, Joycelyn putting pencil shavings all over Kenton's clean room and them having to vacuumed them up, Mon vacuuming up the baby bird we rescued, Celeste staying up till midnight and going for a swim with Mom and Erica in the pool, killing the chicken named Wild- dad chopped the head off and it jumped eight feet into the air and almost touched Celeste and Kenton who were up in the tree and then it jumped into the irrigation and did the back stroke,Swinging on the sunflower swing, puppies, how the cats always had their kittens on/under/next to Kenton's bed and then we would hide then from the younger kids, Cats mysteriously disappearing because Dad took them away and left them somewhere, the dedicated cat who waited at the front door for mom and dad to come home from their weekend trip only to find out its tail was stuck in the door-it forever had a kink in its tail after that, raising pigs while while the Bevell's were on their mission, floating down the ditch in mettle tins and 5 gallon buckets, picking blackberries, peaches, oranges, pecans, apricots, limes, lemons, and figs, raking the leaves into big piles next to the play house and jumping off the roof into them, working so hard to clean the playhouse and then it was time for your friends to go home. We had a great childhood! So many animals and pets, food and fruits, friends and family!

What great stories! I know that your kids are going to have equally great stories with a family like that. :)
